Submission Guidelines:

1. Create a BandLab Account:

Go to www.bandlab.com and create a free account if you don’t have one already.

2. Create Your Remix:

Use at least one vocal sample from either of these BandLab packs:

You may use additional samples, though it’s not required.

3. Using BandLab Sounds (Optional)

If creating your remix in BandLab, click “BandLab Sounds” and search for “SEIDS.”

Explore either the “Heartbreak” or “Back Together” pack to use in your remix.

You can create your remix directly in BandLab or upload a track you made elsewhere
(directions below)

4. One entry per person.

How to Submit:

1. Go to www.bandlab.com and login your account

2. Click the red “Create” button in the top right corner. You can build your remix directly in BandLab or upload your final track if you created it outside the platform.

3. Upload a Track Created Outside of BandLab: Click the center “+” icon or “Add Track” to upload your remix.

4. Click publish track

5. Add a cover photo

6. Name your project using this format: SEIDS Remix Submission _ [Your Song Title] _ [Your Name].

7. Enter the genre

8. Add a description of your track. Make Sure Your Track Is Public: Set your track visibility to “Public.”

9. Submit Your Entry: Click “Publish.” Copy the link under the “Spread the Word” section.

10. Email the link to [email protected] by January 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST.

Live Listening and Winner Announcement

Date: January 15, 2025
Time: 1 PM PST
Where: Instagram and YouTube Livestream (SEIDS channels)

Prizes:

1st Prize Winner: Paid Sound Pack Collaboration with BandLab (rates TBD) and BandLab Membership

Top 20: Song played during livestream

Additional Rules and Permissions:

By submitting, you agree to have your remix played during the livestream on YouTube and/or Instagram. If you do not want your remix played live, send a private SoundCloud link instead. If you want your remix played, make sure the link is public.

Important Note:

You are free to release your remix independently, but please do not tag SEIDS as an artist. Thank you for respecting this!
